Rijo Staff,

I just wanted to give you the good news that Louis made the Lakeside Recovery 14U Koufax team for the 2012 season. This is traditionally been a good team with players feeding into the Newport, Issaquah, and Skyline High Schools. Louis had a terrific try-out and was one of the first group of players called and asked to join this team.

When we began bringing Louis to Rijo at age 11 he was an average Little League player that could pitch very well but had difficulty hitting the ball. The past 3 seasons we have seen his batting average improve from .170 (Prior to training at Rijo) to .270 to last years average of .442 all because of his and your hard work at Rijo.

We love the attitude all of the coaches have and more importantly than becoming a better baseball player he has become a better person because of the role models he has at Rijo Athletics. Keep up the good work and as you can tell we are ecstatic about staying with your program as Louis progresses.
